Crystal Clear!

My windows are clean, no more stickers or silicone goo from the factory. Initially the project today was making wheel covers but it wasn't going well so plans changed. The windows were getting nasty so it was a great alternative, they look really good now!

I have the use of a 10 foot brake (thanks Jim) for a couple days so Idodged rain and put some flashing all around the bottom and the porch. I never used one but think I did ok for a rookie. While I have it I'm going to make some covers for the wheels next and tidy up the ends of the roof cap.

Here's the brake...

And here's flashing...

Roof Cap!!!

It's on! Just a little bit of crimping and touch up metal work on the ends and I can officially put the roof behind me! Or should I say above me? I am just so thankful that roofing paper is down!!

 Thanks Jim and Chris!

One of the things on the list gets crossed off! Hope it will look good when the roof is finished (fingers crossed tomorrow)

Finished up the Siding

Finally. No more siding. Now I can focus on the electrical and plumbing. Yikes!

Possibly a roof on Friday? If you're new to the blog the roof has been a journey in itself - all prayers are appreciated!
