I did manage to work on a few projects starting in late summer. I reused an old fruit pickers ladder and added some 2x6 cedar board to make steps to the loft. There is a small closet, a rolling storage counter, the kitchen sink and counter, and a desk that can convert to a sitting area. For the most part I used leftover lumber and only bought hardware and a few necessities. All these items turned out a little different than what I had envisioned but all of them can be taken down without too much trouble and the entire place can be reconfigured.
Here's some pics...
Kreg Jigs are great for pocket
holes, highly recommend!
The AC is located in the small loft.
The venting and water drainage
goes through the porch ceiling...
...and through the deck
I can put a bucket there and
use the water for the garden.
The rolling storage counter...
(Almost finished)
The finished ladder with
two straps to hold onto
The AC unhooked and two exercise rings
that will be hooked off to the side
My desk with (unfinished) storage underneath
which could be moved around for stools or
small tables.
Finished porch area..
I started moving things in so that will be the next update...
Kreg jigs rock. Looks great
ReplyDelete, Mikey. Is that walnut atop your rolling cart? Dig the trim on the loft and ladder looks sweet. Prayong for you and your girls. Peace.
