Good Weather!

We had good weather today in western PA so it's back to work on the little house. It was an extremely long and cold winter that drove progress to a halt. I'm back and it was good to "do" something and look forward to finishing this summer.

First half of the day I reorganized the basement and tools and tidied up so I know what what I have. Also managed to locate where the plumbing and electric will go through the floor and not hit deck studs. Then I got one piece or siding up close to the roof to trim the top row. The first piece I made I didn't like and and the piece I have up may come down because it doesn't look great. Due to the narrow size on the top row I made a straight cut on the bottom edge. I'm probably going to stagger them it's just going to be a time consuming project. I'll have to experiment and see what happens.
